      •  Information on the legal requirements and benefits of creating a co-op.
      •  Finding the  best method for you to sell the output of the project
      •  Helping you to deal with local and national level policy makers.
      •  Access to relevant information concerning grants etc. from organisations such as Enterprise Ireland and SEAI.
      •  Access to new Irish-developed energy technology developed in Irish universities such as DCU etc.
      • Information on planning regulations
      • Information on local grid and distribution systems
      • Information on the renewable energy technologies best suited to your projects
      • Information on the various means by which your project can earn you additional income for your community

On-going consultancy services are available to suit the needs of your project, a separate fee can be negotiated for these on a case by case basis.

In partnership with the Co-operative Development Society Ltd we can assist communities and interested groups in every stage of establishing your co-op and becoming a successful energy producer, conservator or technology development partner. Through our contacts with technology developers, local and national regulators and energy distributors, we will help you ensure that your project best suits the needs of your community, turning your innovative ideas into long term sustainable benefits to your members and your local environment.

Our Services for Individuals

Some of our co-ops are are interested in attracting members from throughout Ireland. We are able to put you into contact with co-ops seeking membership and investment opportunities which will enable you to get involved in renewables projects no matter where you are based

 

If you have a proposal for a renewables project in your area you can contact us and we may be able to put you in contact with other like-minded individuals to help you develop your idea into a reality.
